What do you need to complete the Local Community Survey at your church?
Check your Survey Kit for:
Local Community Survey Instructions
(one per church location or mass centre is included in your Survey Kit - if your church ordered Community Surveys)
To be used by church leaders to conduct the survey with local community contacts.
This Instructions Sheet displays the NCLS Church Code for a church location (page 1) to be entered online when people begin the survey.
N.B. Multi-site churches or parishes will receive one Community Survey Instructions for each church location or mass centre, displaying their NCLS Church Code (see Guide for more details).

Dear community member,
Our church is hosting a Local Community Survey, in which members of the local community with a connection to our church activities, are asked about their thoughts on the local community and its needs, their personal spiritual beliefs or religious practices, and their experience of the church and involvement in its activities.
The results of the survey will help our local church to better understand our local area and strengthen our connections with people in our local community.
We invite you to take part in this survey.
- It will take 5-10 minutes to complete.
- It is anonymous and confidential.
